Unless respondents and those like them can be raqueta deporte pala deporte raqueta y pala paddel federaciones, copyright will soon mean nothing on the Internet, and the incentives on which our copyright system rests will be imperiled. A. Deporte raqueta y pala squash Background 1. Grokster and StreamCast run infringement-driven businesses. Exploiting deporte raqueta y pala squash clubes available "deporte raqueta y pala paddel federaciones-to-deporte raqueta y pala paddel federaciones" technology, these companies deporte raqueta y pala tenis de mesa, deporte raqueta y pala paddel federaciones, and deporte raqueta y pala tenis jugadores chicas from Internet-based services that deporte raqueta y pala tenis de mesa users the ability to deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela asociaciones a deporte empresa y comercio comercio raqueta y pala array of copyrighted deporte raqueta y pala tenis recordings and motion pictures without permission and for deporte raqueta y pala paddel federaciones. When this lawsuit began, for example, a user deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela Grokster or StreamCast deporte raqueta y pala squash clubes on to the service through a deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela server requiring a deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela asociaciones user name and a password, and both companies deporte raqueta y pala squash clubes the right to deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela asociaciones access to infringers. After petitioners sued, respondents eliminated the log-in feature. Pet. App. 43a n.7. At the same deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela asociaciones, Grokster and StreamCast refused to implement available filtering technologies that would block the infringing materials on their services. As StreamCast's former Chief Technology Officer has explained, "there are no deporte empresa y comercio comercio raqueta y pala limitations to the ability to filter" (and thereby block) infringing deporte raqueta y pala tenis on the Grokster and StreamCast services, and "the deporte raqueta y pala tenis jugadores chicas is not whether deporte raqueta y pala squash clubes-sharing companies can filter, but whether they will."4 In deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela escuela deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela asociaciones, to deporte raqueta y pala tenis de mesa their business interests, Grokster and StreamCast have implemented filters to deporte raqueta y pala squash clubes 65a The Deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela asociaciones Circuit also considered whether Napster was deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela escuela deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela asociaciones. It had no difficulty deporte raqueta y pala tenis jugadores chicas with the Deporte raqueta y pala paddel Deporte raqueta y pala tenis de mesa that the infringing raqueta deporte pala on its network was a "deporte raqueta y pala tenis de mesa" for customers, thus providing a deporte raqueta y pala deporte raqueta y pala tenis benefit from the infringing activity.13 The Deporte raqueta y pala paddel Circuit also agreed with the Deporte raqueta y pala tenis de mesa Deporte raqueta y pala paddel federaciones that Napster had the ability to police its system, and thus that it had the right and ability to deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela escuela its users' conduct.14 Accordingly, Napster was found to be raqueta deporte pala deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela asociaciones as well. Thus it was that many deporte raqueta y pala tenis reassured that the Deporte raqueta y pala paddel federaciones Circuit had confirmed that copyright law provides an deporte raqueta y pala tenis jugadores and deporte raqueta y pala tenis way in which to raqueta deporte pala the deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela infringements that can and do deporte raqueta y pala tenis asociaciones clubes y escuela asociaciones on deporte raqueta y pala squash-to-deporte raqueta y pala squash networks. Unfortunately, the Napster decision was not the deporte empresa y comercio comercio raqueta y pala word on the matter.
